What are the reasons for air compressor exhaust pressure failure?

We often receive feedback from customers that there are problems with the exhaust pressure of the air compressor.So what are the causes of exhaust pressure faults?Today, based on customer feedback, the editor has summarized the issues with air compressor exhaust pressure faults, their causes, and solutions as follows,I hope it will be helpful for us to use air compressors in the future.

Fault phenomenon 1:Exhaust pressure is too high.

1. The pressure setting is too high:Adjust the pressure switch settings

2. Pressure sensor has malfunction:Replace the pressure sensor.

3. Loading solenoid valve has malfunction:Blocked but not completely blocked,Check and eliminate solenoid valve’s faults.

4. The gasoline consumption suddenly decreased:To check for changes in gas consumption,if the gas consumption is appropriate,reduce high unloading pressure.

5. Solenoid valve’s malfunction on unloading:Unloading failed,made

continuous increase when unloading is less than pressure,check and eliminate solenoid valve faults.

6. The intake valve is stuck,unable to close, resulting in continuous loading:Remove the intake valve,if the blockage is not severe,Polish the rusted area with sandpaper and add lubricating oil.

Fault phenomenon 2:Exhaust pressure is too low

1. If a specific gas supply exceeds the gas output of the generator set,check the interconnection facilities and pipeline network,and immediately repair any leaks,If the gas supply of the system’s software exceeds the output of the compressor unit under normal usage conditions,so the large-sized compressor unit should be replaced or upgraded.

2. The default value for unloading job pressure is too low,properly set the unloading pressure value,fully utilize high efficiency.

3. The air filter element is dirty and blocked,Causing insufficient intake of air compressor generator set, exhaust pressure is low,check the air filter,replace it if necessary.

4. Relay’s malfunction,the main ventilation relay and cold start ventilation relay on the exhaust pipe are leaking,to replace it.

5. Failure of safety relief valve,The air compressor cannot be turned off when under load,need to repair or replacement.

6. The valve is leaking,the gate valve needs to be recalibrated or replaced.

7. The drain valve of the oil separator got stuck after opening,causing leakage, maintenance is required
